Growth, Blossoms, and Beyond subtly interweaves the human, natural, and socio-cultural worlds in an immersive virtual botanic garden. The viewer is placed in a botanic garden of the future by bringing them closer to the deep complexities of our fascinating world in the new media art installation. While they explore the wonders of nature, they can also observe closely the impact of climate change on the world, comprehend the relationship between human behavior and the environment, and understand the immense importance of biodiversity. Growth, Blossoms, and Beyond conveys the same environmentally-conscious philosophy in line with Lancôme’s belief in sustainable development, calling for people to look at nature’s many marvels and respect the connection between all creatures.

《无尽花境》微妙地将人类、自然和社会文化交织，共同呈现在虚拟植物园之中。观众参与奇幻无比的互动体验，犹如身临其境未来植物园，探享自然美好的同时，沉浸式观察气候变化对世界的影响，了解人类行为和环境之间的关系，理解生物多样性的重要意义。该作品传递与兰蔻可持续发展观相同的环保理念，呼吁人们关注自然之美，尊重万物共链。

Through 360-degree panoramic projection animation, visitors are invited to step into the Growth, Blossoms, and Beyond, a world of vitality and tenacious floral growth. Roses, lichens, mushrooms, moss, and bio-materials build the objects that dotted the landscape, forming a botanic garden of the future. The artist gradually unfolds the life cycle of the diverse creatures and organisms in the garden with a dynamic visual narrative to present the powerful regeneration force of nature. This is an imagined future where organic life and synthetic creatures may coexist together.

Engaging the senses of sight, sound, and smell, the artist uses spatial sound and aromatherapy based on the legendary Lancôme perfume Mille et Une Roses to create a multi-sensory immersive experience. As the viewer walks in the space, their very being and movement will transform the auditory and visual projection in the installation so human’s impact on nature can be keenly conveyed. If the viewer remains stationary, the plants around them will be triggered to burst into bloom in abstract visual projection. However, if the viewer moves fast, their movement will result in the visual projection fading and leaving an empty hollow in the space of the previous floral landscape. If a crowd gathers in one space, they will provoke the reaction in auditory and visual projections to scale up, corresponding to the overloading pressure on nature.

Collectively, these unique experiences connect art, nature, and technology closely together to weave a visual map defined by multi-sensory immersive interactions. The viewers perceive the change in their environment with every step. The artist hopes to call on people to contemplate the deep complexities that exist in the relationship between their living environment and the ecosystem, commit to sustainability with Lancôme, and respect the connection between all creatures.

通过360度全景投影动画，邀请观者步入一个充满活力、顽强生长力的《无尽花境》，玫瑰、地衣、蘑菇、苔藓、以及生物合成材料制成的景观物件构筑完成这座未来植物园。艺术家利用动态视觉叙事方式，将各种生物的生命周期徐徐展开，生动展示大自然再生力量，尽现想象中有机和合成生命共存的未来。

艺术家应用环绕音响与以兰蔻殿堂香水“千叶玫瑰香”为基调的香薰，打造以多感官体验为主的沉浸式空间。当观众投身于互动环境中，其存在和行动便会影响装置内的视觉和听觉景观，能够切身感受人类对自然世界的影响：若参观者静止不动，便会触发附近植物以抽象视觉的形式绚烂盛开，而观众快速的移动会导致屏幕上视觉消退，留下一个空洞，当空间聚集过多的人数，就会引起视觉和听觉刺激的升级，由此回应了过载生态系统的压力。这些独特体验被统一起来，将艺术、自然和科技紧密相连，编织成一个感官丰富的视觉蓝图，令观者在步履间感受环境的千变万化。艺术家希望通过该作品，唤醒人们对生活环境与生态系统复杂关系的思考，与兰蔻同行，坚守可持续之美，尊重万物共链 。
