Formative Thresholds is a series of parametric digital sculptures that materialise states of suspension, conditions that are continually forming but never fully arrive. They exist simultaneously within the individual and the system, appearing as emotional residues, relational shifts, and drifting identities, but also as urban remnants, ecological transitions, and slow biological growth shaped by external constraint.
The work translates these suspended conditions into hybrid biomorphic topologies such as porous surfaces, skeletal traces, and filamentary networks, where form unfolds not as a stable entity but as a continuously re-adjusting configuration held within the threshold of formation.
The threshold here is both a generative parameter and a metaphorical field where tension, hesitation, and incompletion persist as structural grammar. Formative Thresholds reframes indeterminacy not as failure but as a morphology of becoming.
